Directions from M61 to Chorley accountant Roby Brimley

  • Leave motorway at junction 8 Chorley. 
  • Follow the signs for Chorley town centre.
  • At the next roundabout take the first exit onto dual carriageway. 
  • At next roundabout take the first exit onto A6. 
  • Follow A6 to mini-roundabout (B& Q on left) (stay in outside lane)
  • Continue straight ahead to 2nd roundabout (almost immediately) remaining in outside lane.
  • Continue straight through on dual carriageway, passing on left Curries and All Seasons Leisure Centre. 
  • At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Commercial Road (up hill onto Park Road). 
  • Proceed along the carriageway and after about 500 metres, Astley Park on right hand side, take the first right on to Queens Road. 
  • Next left on to Crown Street.
  • Left again on to Farrington Street. 

From M6 Northbound

  • Leave M6 at junction 27 and join A5209 to Standish.
  • At Standish, turn left onto A49 towards Chorley.
  • Turn right at mini-roundabout onto A581 Balshaw Lane.
  • Continue over 2 roundabouts, following the signs for Chorley until you reach St Thomas’s Road.
  • Turn left immediately before the police station onto Crown Street.
  • First right onto Farrington Street.

From M6 Southbound

  • Leave M6 at junction 28.
  • At the top of the slip road turn right and right again towards Chorley.
  • Turn left at the mini-roundabout onto A581 Balshaw Lane.
  • Continue over 2 roundabouts, following the signs for Chorley until you reach St Thomas’s Road.
  • Turn left immediately before the police station onto Crown Street.
  • First right onto Farrington Street.

Parking

  There is a short stay car park at end of Farrington Street on left hand side.

By Train

  • Chorley receives regular services from Preston and Manchester Piccadilly.
  • Roby Brimley & Co is a short walk from the station.
  • Cross over dual carriageway using zebra crossing.
  • Turn right and walk for about 200 yds and then turn left onto Cleveland Street.
  • Follow Cleveland Street to the traffic lights and cross the road. 
  • Walk straight forward between Town Hall and White Hart, bearing right leading onto Farrington Street. 
  • Turn left on to Farrington Street.
